Generali and Arthemisia Open Exhibition Space in Rome's Palazzo Bonaparte
In collaboration with Arthemisia, Generali has launched a new exhibition space at the historic Palazzo Bonaparte in Rome. This Baroque masterpiece, designed by Giovanni Antonio De Rossi and completed in 1677, has been transformed into a cultural center following a two-year restoration. The venue opened its doors on July 9, 2019, allowing free access, while regular programming commenced on October 6, 2019, featuring "Impressionisti segreti." This exhibition showcases works from private collections by renowned artists such as Monet, Renoir, and Cézanne. Covering approximately 3,000 square meters, the palace was previously the residence of Maria Letizia Ramolino, Napoleon Bonaparte's mother. Generali acquired it in 1972 from Marquis Flavio Misciattelli. Marco Sesana and Lucia Sciacca emphasized the importance of cultural accessibility in this initiative.
