GDCC at MUSAC screens Claudio Zulian's Constelación Portabella

The Grupo de Diálogo sobre Cine Contemporáneo (GDCC) of MUSAC in León resumes its monthly activity by joining the centenary celebration of filmmaker and producer Pere Portabella. On May 14, 2026, at 20:00, the museum will screen Claudio Zulian's 2024 film Constelación Portabella, followed by a dialogue with the director. Portabella is a key figure in Spanish cinema, known for films like No compteu amb els dits, Nocturno 29, Vampir–cuadecuc, Umbracle, Pont de Varsòvia, and El silencio antes de Bach. He also produced El cochecito (Marco Ferreri) and Viridiana (Luis Buñuel), and was a senator in the Spanish Constituent Cortes, signing the 1978 Constitution. The film compiles fragments of his movies and interviews with critics, directors, and historians such as Esteve Riambau, Jonathan Rosenbaum, and Luis E. Parés.
