Gavin Brown Opens New Rome Gallery La Pulce

exhibition · 2026-04-26

Gavin Brown has launched La Pulce, a new gallery located at Via dei Tre Archi 5 in Rome, effectively doubling his footprint in the city. This development comes after the closure of his New York gallery and nine years post the establishment of Sant'Andrea De Scaphis in Trastevere. La Pulce opened its doors in mid-February featuring Marc Kokopeli's exhibition "Die ring," which is accessible by appointment until March 30. A British artist who studied at Newcastle Polytechnic and Chelsea College of Arts, Brown relocated to New York in 1988. He has curated exhibitions since the early 1990s and inaugurated his first Soho gallery in 1994, also co-founding Unclebrother and 356 Mission, and previously running Roma Roma Roma in Rome.
