Garbatella IMAGES: Zizola and Cocco Photograph Rome's Historic District

The Garbatella IMAGES project highlights the exhibition 'Abitare il Paesaggio,' organized by the cultural association and gallery 10b Photography, with Sara Alberani as curator and support from Municipio Roma VIII. This showcase features new works by Francesco Zizola and Giovanni Cocco, along with historical photographs contributed by local residents, all displayed in the courtyards of lots 30 and 32. The initiative also offers workshops, talks, and guided tours that delve into Garbatella's urban history, inspired by English garden cities. Partnering organizations include Associazione Culturale WSP Photography and various senior centers. Alberani emphasizes the role of imagery in public spaces, enhancing community memory. The exhibition is open until December 20, 2018, at 10b Photography and the outdoor areas of lots 30 and 32 in Rome.
