Garage Museum of Contemporary Art to Open June 2015 with Eric Bulatov Installation and Louise Bourgeois Retrospective

In June 2015, the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, established by Dasha Zhukova in 2008 and created by Rem Koolhaas, will officially open its doors. The opening program features a significant installation by Russian artist Eric Bulatov, part of the Garage Atrium commissions series. The first floor will showcase five exhibitions that include works from both Russian and international artists, with a notable project by Rirkrit Tiravanija. Additionally, in September 2015, the museum will host the first Moscow retrospective of Louise Bourgeois, organized in partnership with Haus der Kunst in Munich. These announcements were made on September 17, 2014, while the museum is currently located in a temporary pavilion in Gorky Park, designed by Shigeru Ban.
