GAMeC Bergamo's 2025 Mountain Program Announced
The 2025 edition of "Pensare come una montagna," a biennial initiative by GAMeC – Galleria d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bergamo, has been unveiled, extending its reach into the mountainous areas surrounding Bergamo. This program, which began in 2024, aims to foster ecological consciousness through events scheduled for February 8, June 7, and October 4, 2025, featuring artists such as Abraham Cruzvillegas and Atelier dell'Errore. A notable project, EX, will involve the reconstruction of Bivacco Frattini in Valbondione. Curator Greta Martina will present her project for the 12th Premio Lorenzo Bonaldi per l'Arte – EnterPrize. Additionally, Maurizio Cattelan's exhibition will take place at Palazzo della Ragione from June to October 2025. Meanwhile, the construction of GAMeC's new venue is in progress, with an anticipated opening in autumn 2026 and a budget of €18 million.
