GAMeC Bergamo Announces 2023 Program with Salto nel vuoto, Whiteread, and Saraceno
GAMeC Bergamo, under the leadership of Lorenzo Giusti, has unveiled its 2023 agenda, which emphasizes themes such as memory preservation, dematerialization, decolonization, and ecological transition, aligning with Bergamo Brescia Capitale Italiana della Cultura 2023. The program kicks off in February with 'Salto nel vuoto. Arte al di là della materia', marking the conclusion of the Trilogia della Materia that commenced in 2018, showcasing artists like Yayoi Kusama and Pablo Picasso. In June, exhibitions featuring Rachel Whiteread and Vivian Suter will debut, alongside 'La Collezione Impermanente #4'. Later, audiences can look forward to Chiara Bersani's 'Deserters (Disertori)' and Tomás Saraceno's 'Solar City'. In December, Masbedo will present 'Il diluvio universale' during the Donizetti Opera festival.
