GAMeC Bergamo 2020: Daniel Buren, Antonio Rovaldi, and Collezione Impermanente

Lorenzo Giusti, director of GAMeC Bergamo, has unveiled the 2020 agenda, which emphasizes unconventional modernism, the promotion of heritage, contemporary art, and international outreach. In February, the spotlight will be on Antonio Rovaldi’s exhibition, part of his project that won the Italian Council grant from Harvard. June will see the introduction of Daniel Buren’s fiber optic installations at Palazzo della Ragione. Curator Abhijan Toto, recipient of the 10th Lorenzo Bonaldi Prize, will showcase an exhibition focused on ecology featuring Korakrit Arunanondchai. The return of the Collezione Impermanente project will highlight works from the 2000s by artists such as Berlinde de Bruyckere and Yan Pei-Ming. A second exhibit on matter is scheduled for October.
