GAM Torino launches Quarta Risonanza with four exhibitions for second half of 2026

GAM Torino has launched Quarta Risonanza, a multi-exhibition program running from May 21 through November 1, 2026. The program features four distinct projects: a major survey of works on paper from the museum's collections, a solo intervention by artist Pesce Khete, a photography exhibition by Lisetta Carmi, and a retrospective of conceptual artist Vincenzo Agnetti on the centenary of his birth. The survey 'Un altro Novecento. Opere su carta dalle Collezioni della GAM,' curated by Fabio Cafagna and Elena Volpato, presents drawings, watercolors, prints, and paintings spanning the 20th century from Symbolism to the 1990s, including works by Lucio Fontana, Giorgio Morandi, and Filippo de Pisis. Within this exhibition, Pesce Khete (born Rome, 1980) acts as an 'Intruso,' inserting his own paper works into dialogue with historical pieces by Alberto Savinio and Fontana. Separately, photographs by Lisetta Carmi (Genoa, 1924 – Cisternino, 2022) from her series 'Erotismo e autoritarismo a Staglieno' (1966–76) are displayed alongside sculptures from the collection, exploring body, symbolism, and power. This project is part of Strategia Fotografia 2025, promoted by the Direzione Generale Creatività Contemporanea of the Italian Ministry of Culture. Finally, a dedicated exhibition marks the centenary of Vincenzo Agnetti, a key figure in Italian conceptual art, with works on view until November 1, 2026.
