GAM Torino Announces 2025 Exhibitions and International Renovation Competition

exhibition · 2026-04-26

The Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Torino (GAM) has revealed its exhibition schedule for 2025 and initiated an international contest for renovation. Chiara Bertola has been at the helm since January 8, 2024. The program is divided into two seasons: 'Risonanze' (Resonances), which emphasizes light, color, and time, and the Seconda Risonanza, which delves into rhythm, structure, and sign. Curators Chiara Lee and freddie Murphy have invited Aldana Duoraan, a Sakha artist, to contribute a sound intervention. The lineup includes 'Fausto Melotti. Lasciatemi divertire!' (running until September 7, 2025), a solo exhibition by Alice Cattaneo, and a project by Elena Volpato showcasing Giosetta Fioroni's films. The renovation competition, part of the Fondazione Torino Musei's Strategic Plan, is due by June 5, 2025.
