Gallery Isabelle presents 'I Wish to Be Happy, I Want to Be Yellow' group exhibition curated by Jad Karam

The group exhibition 'I Wish to Be Happy, I Want to Be Yellow' is currently on display at Gallery Isabelle in Zurich, Switzerland, until 26 October, under the curation of Jad Karam. This exhibition showcases the works of eight artists who delve into the connections between humans and nature. Among the highlights is Adrian Pepe's 'Nervous Bodies' (2024), featuring large, translucent representations of human and animal anatomy. Jumairy's 'Uncertain Past, Uncertain Future' (2013) comprises twenty prints accompanied by dead ants, illustrating the fragility of memory. Additionally, Tamara Kalo's 'Olive Leaves Memories' (2024) is a folding book made of photograms in recycled plastic. Aminah Al Huqail's 'Layers of Skin Strata' (2023) utilizes chickpea skins to reflect culinary heritage. Alia Zaal captures ghaf trees and nocturnal landscapes, alongside contributions from Mohammad Alfaraj, Dalia Baassiri, and Richi Bhatia.
