Gallery.Delivery porta l'arte contemporanea a domicilio a Milano
From November 1, 2019, to March 1, 2020, Milan is hosting an innovative event called Gallery.Delivery Milan: Weird Domesticity. This project reimagines how we experience art by offering home delivery of artworks. It was developed by German artist Sebastian Schmieg and first tested in Berlin in 2018 with Roehrs & Boetsch. Customers can order pieces from fourteen artists, which are then delivered and installed at their homes by a bicycle courier in about an hour. Curated by Silvio Lorusso, this Milan edition is a collaboration with ParcoGallery and is featured in The Wrong Biennale as an 'on-demand pavilion.' The artworks come from ten Italian artists, including Luigi Amato and Enrico Boccioletti. The initiative is produced by Green Cube Gallery, established in 2017 by Guido Segni and Matìas Ezequiel Reyes.
