Galleria Vannucci Transforms Former Railway Workshop into Cultural Factory in Pistoia

Galleria Vannucci, a contemporary art gallery founded in 1959 by Ermanno Vannucci and now managed by his sons Enrico and Alessandro, has moved to a historic industrial site in Pistoia, Tuscany. This new location, which was previously the Storari electromechanical and railway workshops, represents the city’s industrial past. Massimiliano Vannucci, the third-generation owner, highlights that the gallery serves as a cultural hub, fostering trust and strong relationships with artists rather than functioning solely as a business. The opening exhibition, titled "Let's Twist Again," showcases works from artists including Luca Caccioni, Vittorio Corsini, and Michelangelo Pistoletto. Accompanying the exhibition, a publication designed like a vinyl record emphasizes the gallery's musical theme and its dedication to art over the past sixty years, with support from Gli Ori, an art-focused publishing house.
