Galleria La Nica returns to Rome with group show 'Isole nell'Isola'
Galleria La Nica, founded in Rome in 2017 by Maria Vittoria Marchetta, Cristina Lisciao, and Francesca Valeria Scazzocchio, relocated to Palermo for over six months in 2018 to participate in Manifesta 12 and Palermo's year as Italian Capital of Culture. Now back in Rome, the gallery opens a new space at Via dei Banchi Nuovi 22, near Piazza dell'Orologio, with the group exhibition 'Isole nell'Isola' (May 6–June 6, 2019), curated by Lisciao and Marchetta. The show features historic and contemporary Sicilian artists, reflecting the team's experience in Sicily. The gallery maintains two programming lines: established artists and emerging talents.
