Galleria Eugenia Delfini opens in Rome with Roberta Mariani solo show
On October 19, 2022, at 6 PM, Galleria Eugenia Delfini will be inaugurated at Via Giulia 96 in Rome. Established by Eugenia Delfini (born 1983), the gallery's first exhibition features Roberta Mariani (born 1972) and is titled "La schiuma dei giorni," drawing inspiration from Boris Vian's 1947 novel and Michel Gondry's 2012 film. This exhibition, accompanied by a text from Gianni Garrera, will be on display until January 15, 2023, highlighting Mariani's paintings and sculptures that investigate folds as three-dimensional spaces. The gallery is set to take part in Rome Art Week from October 24 to 29. Delfini, a graduate of Sapienza University of Rome and Bard College, co-founded Sottobosco and has worked at multiple institutions. Mariani studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and Granada, concentrating on existential themes.
