Galleria Continua Paris Opens Gelateria del Dondoli Outpost

exhibition · 2026-04-27

Inaugurated in 2022, Galleria Continua's Paris location at Rue du Temple and Rue Michel-le-Comte, adjacent to the Centre Pompidou, has transformed into a multifaceted venue. It now hosts Gelateria del Dondoli from San Gimignano, overseen by gelato artisan Sergio, celebrated for his unique flavors like Crema di Santa Fina and Champelmo. Among the Paris selections are pistachio and a distinct flavor dedicated to artist Pascale Marthine Tayou, whose solo exhibition Bonnes Nouvelles is on display until June 1, 2022. After renovations by MBL architectes, the café reopens featuring illy coffee, a grocery section, a wine cellar stocked with Tenuta Casenuove wines, and a bookstore. The supermarket initiative, introduced during the Truc à Faire exhibition curated by JR, encourages dialogue and surprise.
