Galleria COLLI Opens Second Space in Family Print Shop in Foligno
Galleria COLLI, founded in Rome in 2015 by Edoardo Colli, is opening a second location in Foligno, Umbria, inside the family's historic print shop. The new 300-square-meter space—ten times larger than the Rome gallery—will allow the gallery to fully realize its hybrid concept combining contemporary art exhibitions with a specialized bookshop and publishing platform. The inaugural exhibition, "Insalata di Fossili / Salad of Fossils" by Luca Trevisani (born 1979, Verona), opens May 25, 2024, and will feature a limited-edition artist book (€35, co-published by COLLI publishing platform and Viaindustriae publishing) and a silkscreen poster edition (€470). The gallery's dual focus on exhibitions and artist publishing stems from Colli's family background in printing; his father Roberto Colli ran the typography. Since its start, COLLI has been co-conceived with Emanuele De Donno (Viaindustriae). The Rome space at Via di Monserrato 103 continues to operate. Upcoming projects include an October 2024 show by Pesce Kethe (currently exhibiting at the Rome location with "Oldies but Goldies" until July 31), a project with Francesco Cavaliere during Artissima at Barriera, and a second exhibition with Maurizio Nannucci in Rome in autumn 2024.
