exhibition · 2026-04-27

The Galleria Borghese in Rome has unveiled its exhibition lineup for 2021, which includes two significant showcases. The first, running from May 10 to October 10, 2021, features a Damien Hirst exhibition, organized by Anna Coliva and Mario Codognato. This display will present sculptures from Hirst's 2017 Venice exhibition alongside 'dot paintings' from the 'Color Space' series, fostering interactions between modern and classic art. Following this, from November 2021 to February 2022, 'Balliamo? Guido Reni a Roma. Danza e Paesaggio,' curated by Francesca Cappelletti, will highlight Guido Reni's 'Danza campestre' and pieces by Annibale Carracci and Domenichino, delving into early 17th-century landscape artistry. Cappelletti affirmed the ongoing contemporary initiatives from the prior administration.
