Galerie's Object Edit: Wearstler, Bouroullec, Mous, Yakusha, and Girard Launch New Designs

Galerie Magazine's Object Edit highlights five new design launches. Kelly Wearstler's ninth collection for Ann Sacks, Treillage, features six-inch square tiles inspired by garden trellises, produced by MADE artisans in Oregon. Erwan Bouroullec's Maap wall lamp for Flos, also at Design Within Reach, uses a Tyvek envelope on a steel support that is crumpled by hand to create unique pleats. Mous, founded by siblings Tanner Moussa and Mackenzie Lewis in 2022, presents Tended Form, a collection of rope-wrapped furniture and cast brass lamps inspired by Southeast Asian craftsmanship. Faina, founded by Ukrainian architect Victoria Yakusha, introduces Drevo, 18 hand-engraved stainless steel panels based on archival wall paintings from the Podillia region, featuring motifs like the Tree of Life. Herman Miller revives Alexander Girard's 1965 Braniff Airways blanket, woven by Pendleton from 82% virgin wool and 18% cotton, with three archival patterns selected by Girard's grandchildren, Kori Girard and Aleishall Girard Maxon.
