Galerie Rolando Anselmi Opens New 500sqm Rome Space with Grand Opening

On October 15, 2020, Galerie Rolando Anselmi opens its new 500-square-meter headquarters in Rome with the exhibition titled Grand Opening. Situated on Via di Tor Fiorenza near the Maxxi-Auditorium, this space builds upon a previous 30-square-meter project room established in 2016. Anselmi’s path is distinctive among Italian gallerists, having launched his first gallery in Berlin in 2013 before moving to Italy. The new location features exhibition spaces, offices, and storage, encompassing an entire commercial block with six storefronts. The Grand Opening showcases works from 16 artists, including Giorgio Andreotta Calò and Gianni Caravaggio. Anselmi views the exhibition as a bridge between the gallery's past and future, continuing despite the pandemic, with the show running until December 20, 2020.
