Gala, Nicolai, Kvas: Three Artists at AplusA in Venice
At the ground floor of Galleria AplusA in Venice, Andrea Kvas (Trieste, 1986), Valerio Nicolai (Gorizia, 1988), and Enej Gala (Ljubljana, 1990) present a collaborative exhibition exploring the limits that separate them. The artists dialogue on art's ability to escape disciplines and reconfigure into a single territory of relation and revelation, renouncing any criterion of expressive partition. Starting from painting, they seek other, differently recognizable paths. On the ground line rest twelve dark pictorial fragments by Kvas. Nicolai responds with his antibodies against every form of disappearance, offering a sequence of thoughts, words, works, and omissions. Above all, the intense and concentrated great-grandson of Enej Gala, worthy of Spacely Ingranaggi Perfetti. The exhibition runs until September 25, 2016 at AplusA, San Marco 3073, Venice.
