Gagy Self-Sufficient House by Kareem and Ehab Aldomiaty in Siwa Oasis

The Gagy Self-Sufficient House, designed by Kareem Aldomiaty and Ehab Aldomiaty, is a 650 m² desert dwelling completed in 2024 in Siwa Oasis. The project reinterprets vernacular architecture through passive design and material authenticity, aiming for a seamless relationship with its landscape. The design team includes Ehab Aldomiaty, with lead architect Kareem Aldomiaty, technical support from Mohamed Amin Afifi, styling by Veronica Leali, and mechanical engineering by Techno Heat. Other consultants include Tamcon Construction Group and Unismart Aluminium Systems. Photographs were taken by SARA MAGNI, and manufacturers include C reality Furniture, Miruki Studio Lighting, and Smart Wood Egypt.
