GAFFdabasso opens in Milan with triangular dental studio show
GAFFdabasso, a new contemporary art space, has opened in Milan at Via Gaffurio 8, moving from the apartment above to a former dental studio on the ground floor. The inaugural exhibition features three artists invited by three curators to inhabit the space as found, complete with dust and peeling plaster. Mirko Canesi, invited by Andrea Lacarpia, uses mint-scented toothpaste; Lara Verena Bellenghi, chosen by Giulia Bortoluzzi, presents delicate polaroid flowers and drawings on tracing paper; Alessandro di Pietro, hosted by Giulia Brivio, contributes a vibrant reflective surface. The show runs until January 7, 2017.
