Gaetano Marzotto Prize 2031 Announces 25 Winners with €2M Prize Pool

The tenth edition of the Premio Gaetano Marzotto – 2031 has announced 25 winners, with a total prize pool exceeding €2 million, nearly quintupled from the initial €450,000. The Company Prize of €300,000 was awarded to Angiodroid for its automatic injector managing CO2 as a contrast agent in peripheral angiographic procedures. The Company Idea Prize of €50,000 went to FMP Biotechnologies – Vacuum Stone Device, a medical device for endourological treatment of urinary calculi. Among special prizes, the Premio Speciale 2030 Social Impact was won by Endelea, an ethical fashion project linking Italy and Tanzania that sells clothing and accessories designed in Italy and handmade in Tanzania, using part of its revenues to sponsor scholarships and educational projects for Tanzanian students. The prize, founded by the Marzotto family and directed by Cristiano Seganfreddo, involves over 100 active partners, 23 major Italian and international corporations, 30 incubators and accelerators, institutional systems, trade associations, banks, investors, and family offices. Over 600 startups competed. The jury for the Company Prize was headed by Diana Saraceni, General Partner at Panakès Partners, and Danilo Mazzara, Principal Director at Accenture Strategy. Margherita Marzotto, President of the Associazione Progetto Marzotto, emphasized the importance of innovation driven by young minds to address global crises.
