Gable Villa: Hybrid Traditional and Modern Architecture in Iran
The Gable Villa, designed by NextOffice–Alireza Taghaboni, is a 350 m² house completed in 2025. The project hybridizes an inclined structure reminiscent of regional traditional architecture with an orthogonal framework. The structural system informs the spatial organization, with public areas on the lower level where greater height is required. The lead architect is Alireza Taghaboni, with a design team including Homa Asadi, Ali Ghods, and others. The project was managed by HRM Group, with structural engineering by Nasser Heidari, Masoud Ipchiler, and Sarang Faraz (Concrete Consultant), electrical engineering by Azmayesh Group, and mechanical engineering by Hadi Mostafavi.
