Future Generation Art Prize extends application deadline to April 30, 2014

The Future Generation Art Prize has pushed its application deadline to April 30, 2014, offering a two-week extension. Established by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation in 2009, this award targets artists under 35, with a total prize of $100,000. The winner receives $60,000 in cash and $40,000 for new work production. Jurors Francesco Bonami, Bisi Silver, and Philip Tinari will nominate a Selection Committee member to choose up to 20 shortlisted artists by June. An exhibition featuring these artists and Zhanna Kadyrova, winner of the Pinchuk Art Centre Prize, will run from October 2, 2014, to January 4, 2015, at the Pinchuk Art Centre in Kiev. The overall winner will be announced in December. Applications are submitted online.
