Future Generation Art Prize 2017 Shortlist Reveals 21 Global Artists Under 35
On November 21, 2016, the PinchukArtCentre revealed the 21 finalists for the 2017 Future Generation Art Prize, selected from 4,421 submissions by a global jury. This prize, which began in 2009 through the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, offers $100,000 to artists aged 35 and younger, working across diverse mediums. Their works will be displayed at the PinchukArtCentre in Kiev, starting February 25, 2017, and running until April 16. The winner will be announced during a ceremony in March. Additionally, this exhibition will also be featured as a collateral event at the Palazzo Contarini Polignac during the Venice Biennale, starting May 11, 2017.
