Future Fair Returns to Chelsea Industrial for Sixth Edition in May 2026

Future Fair will hold its sixth edition from May 14 to 16, 2026, at Chelsea Industrial in New York City. The fair brings together nearly 70 exhibitors, including brick-and-mortar galleries, artist-run initiatives, and collaborative platforms from nine countries across four continents. Nearly half of the exhibitors hail from the New York tri-state area, among them The Painting Center, Vellum Projects, BolsterArts, 81 Leonard Gallery, and Criss Collaborations. Co-founders Rachel Mijares Fick and Rebecca Laliberte emphasize the fair's commitment to evolution, access, and growth, prioritizing emerging and smaller institutions over blue-chip galleries. The Pay-It-Forward Fund, introduced in 2025, allocates 15% of annual profits as grants for select participating galleries and art dealers. The VIP preview day is May 13, 2026.
