Fuorisalone Digital Launches as New Design Week District

digital · 2026-04-27

Studiolabo introduced the Fuorisalone Digital platform on fuorisalone.it from June 15 to 21, 2020, as a substitute for the canceled Salone del Mobile. This initiative aspires to establish a lasting digital hub for design weeks, engaging over 300 designers and firms, such as Isola Design District and Nilufar gallery. New features include Fuorisalone TV and Fuorisalone Meets, with specialized channels for audiences in China and Japan. Promoters Cristian Confalonieri and Paolo Casati highlight the role of digital as a supplement to in-person events. The main audience is expected to be professionals, while Fuorisalone TV aims at a wider public. The platform will extend beyond June 21, with selected content like LAPIS tutorials and WORTH project videos, and a partnership with an e-commerce site in progress.
