Fuorisalone 2017: Design Week parties, installations, and new spaces in Milan

The 2017 Fuorisalone in Milan features a packed program of events, parties, and installations across the city. Elita's Design Week Festival presents a series of parties with South African contemporary art movement members Okzharp & Manthe Ribane, closing with A Tribe Called Quest founder Ali Shaheed Muhammad, alongside David Rodigan, Sadar Bahar, and Rich Medina. In Brera Design District, Studiopepe presents 'The Visit,' an apartment installation celebrating the ritual of visiting, created with Molteni, Agape, and Vitra, open by appointment. Casa Lago opens a new space near the Duomo, focusing on design thinking, networking, and home-feeling, with the concept 'Never Stop Living Kindness' featuring eight women in different settings, and a party on Tuesday 4 March. Corian Design Surface and Cabana Magazine present 'Corian Cabana Club' at Padiglione Visconti in Zona Tortona, under art direction by Christoph Radl and Martina Mondadori Sartogo, with seven personalities from fashion, interior design, and decorative arts showcasing maximalist installations that expand Corian's expressive potential.
