Fundación Casa Wabi and ArtReview Announce Fifth Open-Call Residency Prize for Community-Engaged Artists

The fifth edition of the open-call residency prize has been introduced by Fundación Casa Wabi in collaboration with ArtReview, aiming to select three artists or collectives for six-week residencies in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico. Interested applicants must submit a 500-word proposal, a maximum of five images, and a CV compiled into a single PDF by July 30, 2022. The selected winners will have the option to choose from three residency periods occurring between November 2022 and March 2023. The prize package encompasses a local flight, accommodation, studio access, meals, and funding of up to $500 USD for their project. A jury will assess the submissions, and winners will be announced by August 30, 2022, with results available on casawabi.org and artreview.com. Previous recipients include Marita Fraser and Dexter Dalwood.
