Fundación Bancaja Opens 31st Photography Salon in Segorbe

The Fundación Bancaja in Segorbe has announced the 31st edition of the Salón Fotográfico Ciudad de Segorbe, a photography competition open to Spanish residents. Participants may submit up to five unpublished photographs in two categories: Libre (free theme) and Comarcal (regional theme focusing on Alto Palancia and Alto Mijares). Works must be mounted on a 50x40 cm passe-partout with minimum 1.5 mm thickness. Digital submissions require JPG format at 300 dpi, minimum 2000 pixels on the shorter side, and file size between 1 MB and 10 MB. The submission period runs from June 1 to June 30, 2026. Prizes include €900 for first place in each category and a diploma for second place. Winning works become property of the Fundación Bancaja. Selected photographs will be exhibited at Casa Garcerán in Segorbe from October 22, 2026, to January 6, 2027. All participants receive a commemorative catalog.
