Cartoonist and director Fulvio Risuleo teamed up with singer-songwriter Mirkoeilcane to produce 'La cattiva novella', a musical short film that intertwines three narratives through a unified storyline. This work debuted in the International Competition at the Torino Film Festival, held from November 26 to December 4, 2021. The plot centers on Giovanni, an elderly man who, before passing away, writes a letter to his close friend Jesus, imploring him to look after his family and return to Earth for redemption. The collaboration commenced when Risuleo was approached by Mirkoeilcane's label, Fenix Entertainment, for a music video. Risuleo enjoyed the creative process, collaborating with a diverse team, including animation supervisor Pietro Ciccotti, and viewed it as a promising beginning for future animation endeavors.
