Frontribe's cyberpunk sci-fi website wows developers

Frontribe launched a new website for its talent agency, designed to impress experienced front-end developers with a cyberpunk and sci-fi aesthetic. The project began with outlining business requirements, then moved to mockups and copy. Themes like games, electronic music, and cyberpunk were chosen for their appeal to developers. The team prioritized 3D scrollable animation and native scroll performance. The production process was iterative, with design and coding circulating across sections. Half the design was created in-browser using 3D models and exported PNGs as start/end frames. The homepage serves as the front cover, showcasing nontrivial design and code. The site includes a 'For Developers' page using space analogies and a 'For Companies' page addressing business challenges. The agency aims to connect engineers with business owners.
