Frieze Seoul 2024 Returns with Expanded Program and Over 110 Galleries
From September 4 to 7, 2024, COEX will host the third edition of Frieze Seoul, under the direction of Patrick Lee. This year, over 110 galleries from 32 nations will take part, featuring prominent Korean galleries such as Arario, Hyundai, Johyun, Kukje, and PKM. Newcomers include Bel Ami (Los Angeles), Exit (Hong Kong), LambdaLambdaLambda (Prishtina/Brussels), LC Queisser (Tbilisi), Mind Set Art Center (Taipei), Proyectos Monclova (Mexico City), and sultana (Paris). The event will also present Frieze Live for performance art and continue the Frieze Seoul Artist Award. Additionally, Frieze Masters will highlight a stronger Asian presence, including first-time participants. Focus Asia, curated by Joselina Cruz and Hyejung Jang, will feature ten solo exhibitions. LG OLED serves as the headline partner, while Deutsche Bank is the global lead partner. The fair will take place alongside Kiaf SEOUL.
