festival-fair · 2026-05-05

The sixth Frieze Masters event is taking place in Regent's Park, London, until October 8, 2017, showcasing more than ten galleries from Italy. Among the standout displays are Mazzoleni's exhibition of Alberto Burri from 1966 to the 1990s, along with Burri at Tornabuoni, Robilant and Voena, Nahmad Contemporary, and David Zwirner. Massimo Minini pays tribute to Shusaku Arakawa, while Massimo De Carlo features Pino Pascali's 'Balena' (1966) and Gianfranco Baruchello's 'Fucili Kill'. Cardi displays Gino De Dominicis' self-portraits, and Galleria Continua presents Chen Zhen. Noteworthy pieces in the Spotlight section include Vincenzo Agnetti's 'black paintings' at Zero... and Laura Grisi at P420, alongside works by Lynda Benglis, Craig Kauffman, and Byzantine rings at Les Enluminures. Bacarelli and Botticelli share a booth, with Peter Freeman showcasing a Tuscan crucifix.
