Frieze Los Angeles 2021 Postponed to July, New Citywide Format
Frieze Los Angeles, originally scheduled for February 2021, has been postponed to July 2021 due to the pandemic. The third edition will introduce a decentralized format across the city, leveraging Los Angeles's architectural history and unique spaces to avoid crowds. A digital version will launch concurrently. The fair will still be based at Paramount Studios. Organizers plan to return to February dates in 2022. Meanwhile, Frieze New York 2021 moves from Randall's Island to The Shed, featuring 60 exhibitors instead of 200. Art Basel Hong Kong was also postponed to May 21–23, 2021, as stated by Director Asia Adeline Ooi.
