Frieze London 2025 highlights Arab world artists and galleries amid global expansion

Frieze London 2025, which runs until 19 October, showcases galleries and artists from the Arab region, aligning with the announcement of Frieze Abu Dhabi set for November 2026. The event merges commercial and non-profit elements, featuring Frieze Sculpture, curated by Fatoş Üstek, which includes 14 outdoor installations such as 'Neighbours' (2025) by Abdollah Nafisi. Dastan Gallery highlights artists like Reza Aramesh and Farah Ossouli, while ATHR Gallery from Saudi Arabia displays Daniah Alsaleh's carnelian pieces and Basmah Felemban's marine-themed drawings. Gypsum Gallery presents Yasmine El Meleegy's wall reliefs alongside Marianne Fahmy's embroidered works. Selma Feriani features Filwa Nazer's 'Brutalism' (2025) and Fares Thabet's 'Grandfather's Caravan' (2025), while Marfa' Projects showcases Omar Fakhoury's 'Touch Wood' series.
