Frieze Artist Awards 2026: Yagwang and Theo Triantafyllidis Win Seoul and London Commissions
Frieze has revealed the recipients of its 2026 Artist Awards for the fairs in Seoul and London. The Frieze Seoul Artist Award 2026, backed by Bvlgari, has been awarded to the Seoul-based group Yagwang, which was established by Terri Kim and In Jeon. Their work, titled Facade Zone (2026), will be showcased at Frieze Seoul from September 2-5, 2026, featuring a mobile wooden framework and latex sculptures influenced by Korean Buddhist art. Meanwhile, the Frieze London Artist Award 2026 has gone to Greek artist Theo Triantafyllidis, in collaboration with Forma and Google Arts & Culture. His installation, Feral Metaverse (Spider) (2026), will be displayed at Frieze London and Frieze Masters from October 14-18, 2026.
