Friends of Genoa Foundation Launches to Revitalize City's Cultural Heritage
In Milan, the Friends of Genoa foundation has been created to enhance the city’s cultural and artistic legacy. Under the leadership of President Carlo Perrone and Vice President Paolo Clerici, the initiative receives backing from the Aon group. Its endeavors encompass restoration efforts, cultural exchanges, guided tours, scholarships, exhibitions, and conferences. The foundation will be situated at Palazzo di Angelo Giovanni Spinola, Via Garibaldi 5, Genoa. A Scientific Committee is being established, featuring five appointed councilors, including Pietro Salini and Carlo Puri Negri. Additionally, an Advisory Board includes Stephen Schwarzman and Greg Case. The foundation aims to underscore Genoa's historical role as a significant global economic center since the Middle Ages, highlighting its early banking legacy and concealed treasures.
