Fridge Art Fair Returns with Dolly Parton-Themed Edition in New York

The Fridge Art Fair, known for its unconventional and intimate approach, returns to New York from May 14–17, 2026, at Hotel Alameda on the High Line. This year's edition, titled HELLO DOLLY! The Dolly Parton Experience, celebrates the iconic singer with camp, maximalist installations, live performances, and humor. The fair features ten curated booths and the Open To All Project, emphasizing accessibility and community over scale. A tribute to late co-director Linda DiGusta highlights her Pear series and supports causes tied to her life. Highlights include Kaitlin Martin's Bedroom Wall of Dollys installation, Dolly-inspired photographs by David Waage with art direction by Keith Ketwaroo, and a performance by Miss Kanga Roo as Dolly Parton at the VIP preview on May 13. Live music by Jack West is scheduled for May 14. Founder Eric Ginsburg continues the tradition of giving away free mini dog paintings. Two window installations at Dog City NYC extend the theme. The fair remains dog-friendly and fiercely independent, challenging the luxury-focused art fair model.
