Wovo began eight years ago during EXPO, evolving from a clothing store into a platform that includes Wovo Store (a physical shop for sex toys and face-to-face dialogue), Wovo Education (an online space for sexual well-being knowledge), and Soda Party (an explicit clubbing event in Milan promoting experimentation and freedom). Affer, who holds a master's in sexology, emphasizes self-awareness and dialogue as tools to break taboos. The community is genderless and ageless, focusing on subjective experience. Affer's background includes three years in London, where she experienced a freer expression of individuality. The project is documented by photographer Angelo Guttadauro, born in Sicily in 1992, now based in Florence, who combines photography with digital disciplines like scan art and CGI.
