Freud Museum appoints Anna Jobson as director after board bullying claims
Anna Jobson has been appointed director of London's Freud Museum, succeeding interim director Dan Feeney. Jobson brings 25 years of leadership experience from Tate, Arts Council England, and the University of the Arts London, and is currently studying at the Tavistock and Portman Trust/University of Essex. She replaces former director Giuseppe Albano, who stepped down in May. The appointment follows a Serious Incident Report filed by the museum to the Charities Commission over allegations of bullying and an intimidating atmosphere created by the board. Feeney will support Jobson until 2026. Sue Prevezer, chair of trustees, stated Jobson joins at a pivotal time as the museum builds on a critically acclaimed exhibition programme and reaches record student numbers.
