Frestas Triennial Puts Accessibility at Center of Its Program
As the Frestas, Trienal de Artes in Sorocaba, Brazil, nears its conclusion, the focus on accessibility takes center stage. From August 6 to 9, Sesc São Paulo presents "Acessibilidade Cultural em Debate," which builds on the exhibition "do caminho um rezo." This initiative, designed by Gislana Monte Vale and managed by Anderson Nascimento, includes 102 participants and 188 artworks, enhancing the exhibition experience through features such as audio descriptions and tactile components. Over four days, discussions and workshops will explore cultural rights and inclusive practices, with contributions from Museu Paulista da USP and AFENDA.
