French Teenagers Arrested for Murder of 11-Year-Old Boy

In Rennes, France, two teenagers have been taken into custody regarding the murder of an 11-year-old boy, whose body was located near the Vilaine river, with a wet bath towel tightly wrapped around his neck. Initially believed to be 12 years old, the victim was found after a fisherman reported hearing a child's cries. On Monday, authorities arrested a 16-year-old boy at his residence, while a 15-year-old girl turned herself in to the police. Both individuals are facing charges of murdering a minor, as stated by prosecutor Frederic Teillet. They were reportedly seen with the victim on the day of the incident.
