French artist Zoer turns scrapyard into giant color chart

French artist Zoer has transformed the oldest scrapyard in France into a monumental color chart titled Solara. The project comprises 144 old cars saved from destruction, each painted a different color with its RGB code printed on the hood. The presentation notes that each color carries the object's history, use, and personality, combining RGB numbers with car models such as Kadett Blue 0f405c or Mercedes Yellow e6c359. Concurrently, the artist launched a crowdfunding campaign to decontaminate the scrapyard's soil, which contains dangerous concentrations of cadmium and nickel despite the owner's cleanup efforts.
