Frederik Gustav's Speaker Installation Reflects Festival Crowds at O Days 2026

Frederik Gustav, a studio located in Copenhagen, has introduced 'Speaker', a significant installation for the O Days Festival 2026, situated on the Refshaleøen waterfront in Copenhagen, Denmark. This artwork consists of a reflective wall made of circular-brushed aluminum panels, featuring audio cone rings and affixed to a curved metal framework. It lacks moving components; the visual experience varies based on the viewer's perspective, with the panels appearing as luminous discs or dark voids. A smaller disc is suspended from the main structure by cables. The studio's design ethos is evident in the visible construction details. After dusk, warm lighting produces a starry effect.
