Frédéric Acquaviva: Sound Experimenter and Lettrism Archivist

Frédéric Acquaviva, a sound artist born in Montargis in 1967, is recognized for his innovative sound cloning across multiple venues. In December 2012, he is set to perform in New York at Ione's Dream Festival#17 on December 1, at the Emily Harvey Foundation on December 15, and at Intermedia Experimental House on December 16. He is also co-curating the exhibition 'Specters of Artaud' at Museo Reina Sofia in Madrid, which runs until December 17. His works from the early 1990s, including 'O(e)uvre pour pédale de piano' and the radio piece 'sens unique(s)', delve into themes of authorship. Additionally, his piece 'Aatie' debuted in May 2011 at Teatro La Fenice, and he intends to establish a space for experimentation in Berlin in 2013 following his exhibitions.
