James Cohan presents Blooms Disrupted, Fred Tomaselli's seventh solo exhibition with the gallery, featuring new and recent works. The show runs from May 15 to June 27, 2026, at 48 Walker Street. For over forty years, Tomaselli has created maximalist paintings and works on paper that fuse organic matter, photographic reproductions, and dense ornamentation. His work oscillates between microscopic and cosmic scales, botanical and geometric forms. In Blooms Disrupted, the garden becomes his primary subject, exploring the natural world.
