Fred Again.. and Latin Mafia Record Mixtape on Pierre Paulin's Dune Sofa
British producer Fred Again.. collaborated with the Mexican group Latin Mafia to create their mixtape '9 months & 50 hours' at LagoAlgo, a cultural venue housed in a 1960s structure by a lake in Bosque de Chapultepec, Mexico City. Their work unfolded within this modernist architectural gem, which was streamed live on YouTube. The backdrop featured Pierre Paulin's Dune sofa, a modular piece envisioned as part of his innovative approach to fluid interior spaces. Although it was never produced during his lifetime, the Dune sofa has now been released in a limited edition by Paulin, Paulin, Paulin, a studio founded by Benjamin and Alice Paulin to honor his legacy. Earlier this year, Benjamin launched Sounds Like Paulin, a cultural label aimed at redefining the salon experience into an engaging sound venue. The final stages of the mixtape's creation were also livestreamed, with the 26th hour available for viewing.
